Who am I?
I'm a Middle Aged woman, who is embarking on the next journey of my life. Having brought up my son, who is now 19 and at University, it's time to get our an explore again.
I moved to Somerset in May 2022 and lived in my Motorhome, Nancy, for nine months before buying a beautiful little lodge on Bowden's Crest Lodge Park. It's small and cozy for me and my two companions, Sasha and Gracie, and is the perfect base to explore the area as well as Devon, Cornwall and Dorset.
What do I do for Work
I run a holiday company called Hemera Holidays, specialising in Lodge and Hot Tub Holidays, in Northumberland. I work remotely and when I'm off exploring I pop my mobile router into Nancy and carry on with work as normal.. I am also selling lodges for the owner of the park I'm living on and making the most of each day I have.
I'm learning photography, writing a book and have just started my blog which is about lifestyle, business and travel. Basically what I've learnt along my 58 year journey. Every day has been an adventure, some good and some horrendous, but they have made me who I am today.
Why Follow Me
Nothing is very serious. I have some great hints and tips for solo travel. What it takes for a woman to jump into her car or motorhome and start to explore new places and meet new people.
Solo travel can be soooooo scary, but if I can take the leap so can you and once you do there really is no looking back.
I am now into my second year of my new life, have met some amazing people, made some lovely friends and explored places I could only dream of before.
